Laser cutting is the most precise process to cut sheet metal. Laser cutting is the most suitable process for cutting jobs that require small tolerances. All of our laser-cutting work meets the requirements of EN-ISO 9013-221. Dulasta can provide laser-cutting services in large format on its two laser-cutters with a reach of 8,000 x 2,500 mm. These machines allow us to cut steel up to 25 mm thickness and Stainless steel up to 15 mm. The major advantage of laser cutting is its accuracy. For instance, thread holes can be cut right away, after which they merely require tapping the actual thread. This procedure omits the additional action of drilling a hole.
We can also do engraving, such as sketch numbers or bending lines, with our laser cutting machines.

If your products require a surface treatment, then we can remove the sharp edges from the product, fully automated, in our deburring line.
Plasma cutting allows us to cut through thicker sheet metal than is possible with laser cutting. Our facilities allow us to cut sheet metal up to 80 mm thickness. The maximal dimensions are 18,000 x 3,000 mm, this allows us to also supply large-format bent sheet metal. Plasma cutting is faster (thus cheaper) than laser cutting, but the tolerances are somewhat larger. We will gladly advice you in making a choice for either plasma cutting or laser cutting. Just like our laser cutting, our plasma cutting meets the requirements prescribed by EN-ISO 9013-221.
We can also provide engraving in our plasma cutting work. This can be very handy when positioning the various plates in the welding assembly.
Because our plasma cutting machines have a 3d-bevel head, we can perform various preparatory actions for the welding process during the cutting process, fully automated.
We can round off the cutting edges of the products we cut with our plasma cutter at our deburring/rounding line.
Oxy-fuel cutting is the solution for heavier sheet metal (over 80 mm thickness). Oxy-fuel cutting is a process that has been around for a long time, but is still indispensable when it comes to cutting steel. We can cut steel with the oxy-fuel procedure in dimensions up to 18,000 x 3,000 mm. We can cut sheet metal with the oxy-fuel procedure up to 200 mm. For larger series of cutting work, we can use 2 cutting torches at the same time.
We can also do edge preparation on thicker sheet metal.
